Internet marketing isn’t what it was, either. 98% of people surveyed said they don’t trust information on the Internet. Of course, we all know better than to trust everything, but that everything includes your website, your sales page, or your squeeze or lead capture pages, too. money

So, what is a business person supposed to do?

In my new article, “The Inexact Sciences of SEO and Getting People to Buy,” at SEMRush, I give you some solid answers. If you’re doing any of the things discussed, you’re probably failing miserably at getting any SEO traffic and probably, also with getting people to buy.

It all goes back to those three little words — know, like, and trust. If you can’t get your visitors to do that, you’re screwed.

Take heed of the stats I included. People are burned out. Information markeitng, which was a gazillion-dollar industry, isn’t so haughty anymore. Those 7 figure launches seem to be a thing of the past. Why? People are fed up. They can’t produce the same results, though they have spent thousands on products that they say don’t work.

99% of the time, they don’t work because the buyer never followed them to the letter. It’s like taking a bread recipe and substituting baking soda for yeast. Not good.

But I digress. It’s time for us to change people’s minds again, and if you’re still in pursuit of that first buck online, my article will give you some things to do to make your online business work again. It’s all in the bonding.

And believe it or not, that’s what SEO is more about these days, too — giving your visitors a killer customer experience. Keywords are still important, but not the be-all and end-all that they once were. Think more about pleasing your audience and the search engines will love you, too.
