Pat Marcello began her career online in 1996, when she used the Internet for researching as a freelance journalist and book author. Seeing that Internet marketing could be a great way to promote her books, she became interested in the online business world in 2003. In 2006, she began working for a multi-million dollar virtual company. as ghost writer and SEO.

Over her five years at at that company, Pat was promoted to Content Manager, Manager of the ListBuilding Club, and left the company as its Product Development Manager in June 2011.

During her time in that role, she learned far more than just tech, social media, and copywriting. She has worked with myriad online software systems, such as WordPress, WishList Member, MemberGate, Thesis, Gensis, and Optmize Press. She has also worked with several different email marketing platforms, such as AWeber, Office Autopilot, iContact, Mail Chimp, and Imnica Mail.  Pat was also responsible for building out the ListBuilding Club, for hiring outsource workers,  and for monthly calls and webinars that the company used to connect with its members.

Pat has also given many teleseminars and webinars for her own customer list, using GotoWebinar, AnyMeeting, and Instant Teleseminar. And she is versed in video production, using Camtasia and Sony Vegas, and distribution through different video channel submitters, such as Traffic Geyser and Tube Mogul.

Yet, her first love is SEO (search engine optimization). Pat was StomperNet trained in 2006, and has continued to increase her knowledge of SEO and to stay current with recent changes in the search marketing landscape. She is also the creator of Spider Language, a 40-week course that taught SEO beginners how search engines work and how they can design their sites for maximum search value.

Today, Pat’s company works with nationally known clients, as well as small business owners. She and her staff help with content production, website design and development, social media management, copywriting, consulting, coaching, and of course, SEO. All work is supervised and approved by Pat herself. “I want satisfied clients, who are proud of their websites,” Marcello said.
