If you’ve been awake for the past decade, you know that mobile phones have been quietly taking over . You can get email, surf the web and even watch movies on your cell phone these days, and people are learning to buy from them, as well.

This is no surprise.

It took a while for Internet buying to catch on, and though not everyone has joined the bandwagon just yet, shopping from your cell phone is like the tides and the ocean.

It’s coming, naturally.

There are 5.3 billion cell phone users in the world. A half billion of them accessed the Internet.  Mobile ad spend worldwide is predicted to be US$3.3 billion in 2011 sky rocketing to $20.6 billion in 2015. US consumers enjoy banking, travel, shopping, local info, news, video, sports and blogs and prefer apps for games, social media, maps and music on their phones. “M-payments” will be worth $240 billion in 2011 and has predicted to become $1 trillion by 2015. *

Don’t you want a piece of that pie?

Picture this: There are two potential customers standing outside your store. They see something in the window they want, but want to know more about your return policy, since theyve never bought from you before. So, they grab a cell phone from a purse or pocket, type in the store URL and find out that you have a 30-day return policy and it satisfies their whim… Well… They’re right there. They can even call up their banking app to see if they can afford it.

Finding YOU on their cell phones released that tiny squirt of endorphin and you made a sale.

But alongside your logo, they’ll find other customers saying how cool you are. Maybe they’ll even get special pricing for finding you on the phone. Or, maybe you’re having a huge sale. The announcement’s right there, right at the moment they’re ready to shop and buy.

Having a mobile website can really put you on the cutting edge of technology and marketing. You can have logos, images, and anything else you want to appear on your customers’ phones, including video.  Think about it… How do you shop or find restaurants when you’re looking for someplace new?
